Head of Science
Key Stage 5 Leader
I am a British chemistry teacher with over 20 years experience in international schools in Africa and am currently Head of Science at MIS. I started my career in Oxfordshire and then worked in Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique and most recently Zambia.
I have travelled extensively in East Africa including Kampala to Dar es Salaam and back by Lake Victoria ferry and the Central railway line. My biggest adventure was crossing from Tanzania into Northern Mozambique by dugout canoe on the Ruvuma river. Apart from travel, other interests include photography, cricket and the East African music scene.
I am married to swimming coordinator Grace and two of our children are here at MIS. I am very excited at being involved in the rapid development taking place in the school and look forward to many happy years in Morogoro!
