The school has a four-bay clinic with separate areas for boys and girls. There is a nurse on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during term time. Students, as a first port of call, are seen by the school nurse on duty. If they require further treatment they are escorted by the nurse to the hospital or doctors clinic.
If a student needs to purchase medicines recommended by a doctor, the cost of these will be deducted from the activities fund.
The boarding houses are sprayed every evening whilst the students are at dinner so as to kill mosquitoes and prevent malaria in so far as is possible. Each bed is also fitted with a frame for a single square mosquito net.
