Welcome to the website of Morogoro International School (“MIS”, “we,”, “us”, “our”). We respect the privacy of the users of our website and are committed to protecting personal information according to data protection laws and best practices. What data do we collect?

Our website does not collect any personally identifiable data on our visitors. We do not use cookies, except those automatically used by the software (WordPress), or by Google Analytics which do not contain personal information. Our hosting company does retain data on the IP address of visitors, and the type and language of browser they are using and uses these to provide statistical information on the number of visitors to our site and the countries, states or cities where those IP addresses are registered. Our hosting company also retains data on any search terms used from our Search page – this data is not personally identifiable. Some third party software embedded on this site (eg YouTube videos) may use cookies.

Images

Our websites and newsletters include a number of photographs and images including those of students or others in the school community engaged in various activities. These are intended to inform visitors to the sites about the nature of the school environment and the types of activities that take place within the school. Any person (or the parent of a student) whose identifiable image is shown in any photograph may request that the photo be either removed from the sites, or be anonymised in such a way that the person cannot be identified. All such requests should be addressed to the school.
